In Stitches is a social group where knitters and crocheters can get to know one another and share their love of yarncrafts. The group is made up of everybody from complete newbies to Guild-certified knitters and crocheters. We're a friendly bunch, and we do at least as much talking as we do crafting! I've been inspired by "Knitting for Peace" by Betty Christiansen, subtitled "Make the Word a Better Place, One Stitch at a Time." Some possible projects: Chemo Caps, Prayer Shawls, Security Blankets. So, we're knitting (or crocheting, quilting) to give back. Projects will be forwarded to appropriate organizations that will distribute. Get together with like-minded people and laugh, share and hopefully make the world a little better.

And have fun. Please be advised - this is not a stitch and bitch group.
